Waterproof Inks

As many of you may be aware, I have only ever sold Pelikan products. I believe they produce some of the finest fountain pens in the world, therefore, why would I want to sell anything else? However, when it comes to ink I have recently decided that I need to stock Noodler’s ink as well as Pelikan ink. Noodler’s ink is without a doubt an amazing invention. Noodler’s is the creation of Nathan Tardif who is based in Massachusetts, USA (click here to view his official Noodler’s website). Many of my customers asked me if I knew of an ink that would not ‘run’ when they spilled a drink on their work, basically could I recommend a waterproof ink; bring forth Noodler’s ink. Noodler’s bullet-proof inks bond with the cellulose in paper and cannot be removed by water. Neither can they be removed by bleaches, acids, alcohols, solvents and any other kind of substance you are prepared to test. Over 100 years they will not fade in the slightest and constant exposure to UV light has no effect. It is likely that the paper the ink is written on will be destroyed before the ink is! Noodler’s describe this ink as bullet-proof. Noodler’s produce a wide range of waterproof/bullet-proof colours which can be seen by choosing the Waterproof link above. The standard and highlight inks are all brilliant in colour but do not share the same unique characteristics of the waterproof/bullet-proof inks.
