Pelikan M800 Blue o'Blue Fountain Pen - NEW

The o‘ is short for over‘ because the barrel looks as if several broad strokes of blue in different shades are put one over another. Both barrel and cap are made of this slightly translucent material.

The technical production process goes through several steps. First, the acrylic material is cast into thick slabs, then cut into rectangular pieces. These pieces are next turned into a round shape and hollowed.

Then the ready blue o’blue sleeves are put into a mould where the filling reservoir (or inner material of the cap) is added. In the last step, the final pieces are cut into their spherical shape and polished to a bright sheen.

Based on the Pelikan Souveran M800 fountain pen, the Pelikan Golf Limted Edition was released in 1996 with a run of 4500. There was a run of 2500 sets of fountain pen with ball pen and an additional 2000 fountain pens alone. The pens we have for sale here have all been stored in with Pelikan in Hanover and have not been used or sold before.

We have limited stock of these sets, for obvious reasons. So when they are gone they are gone.

The brand new 'Silver Screen' fountain pen is the same size as the Souverän M1000 and has Pelikan's piston fill mechanism.

The cap and the filler knob are made of Sterling Silver and the cap is embellished with the Pelikan logo. The barrel is black resin with a celluloid collar depicting film frames and silver stars. Each of the 4 silver stars is inlaid with a real ruby.

The nib is 18ct gold with rhodium trim. Only a Medium nib will be available.

We currently have 1 in stock but do not expect to do so for long. Pelikans Limited Editions are extremely unqiue and are normally taken very quickly by keen collectors. Once it's gone, it will be very hard for us to get another one, so don't miss out!
